Join us on May 16th for a free screening of the new Oregon Experience documentary, “Fort Vancouver” in advance of the TV premiere!
“Fort Vancouver” explores the history of the National Historic Site in Vancouver, Washington that, in the early 1800s, served as the western headquarters for the British trading enterprise Hudson’s Bay Company, employing hundreds of people from more than 35 different ethnic groups. It uncoverers the history of this national park, its unique multicultural community and the changes that it brought to the Northwest.
The screening event will include a showing of the full half-hour special followed by a Q&A with OPB Producer Beth Harrington and members of the park service.
Free and open to the public. All ages are welcome. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., show starts at 7 p.m. Seating is limited. For more info click here.
