Starting this Friday the Kiggins is back in the business of showing movies on the BIG SCREEN! It has been a long seven months (to the day this Friday) and we have missed you!
As of last week, we have been okayed by the Governor to reopen to the public at 25% capacity as long as a strict set of guidelines are met. The health and safety of our customers and staff is our highest priority, so here’s our plan:
Currently tickets are ONLY available by advance reserved purchase through our website. If you show up without a ticket already purchased you will be turned away! Of course, you can use your smartphone and do it on the spot as we won’t require you to print your ticket. This allows you to pick your favorite seats in advance and still allow us to create the required safe social distancing.
When guests arrive they will first check in at our box-office. We will then have two separate lines, one for folks wanting to purchase concessions, and one express lane that will allow guests to go straight to the auditorium and take their seats.
Masks are required at all times while moving about the Kiggins! If you have purchased concession items we ask that you keep your masks on whenever you aren’t actively eating or drinking. Forgot your mask? We have disposable ones for sale at the box-office. If you need to use the restroom or want to grab more concessions, please put your mask back on before leaving your seat. Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the theater.
Speaking of restrooms, we will be cleaning and sanitizing them every thirty minutes, along with all door handles, railings and public fixtures.
When guests arrive at their seats they will find that cloth seat covers have been placed over their seats giving an added level protection. After the movie, just leave them on your seats and between shows we will gather them for washing at which time that seat will be sanitized throughly.
Once the movie ends we ask that guests, whenever possible, use the interior auditorium exits directly out of the auditorium. We have built in at least one hour between shows so we can make sure the theater is clean, but we don’t want to keep our next guests waiting!
