D.B. COOPER CON 2025

Cooper Con produced by Vortex Events, LLC and taking place from November 14th through the 16th. Experience one or all of three, full days of entertainment, presentations, panel discussions, and Q & A sessions with a movie night and local food and beverage features and events. While air piracy is no laughing matter and the hijacker committed a capital crime, $6,000 of his loot was found right here in Vancouver on the banks of the Columbia River. We look to again celebrate that find, share the latest case information, and embrace the folklore with true celebration. The event will again be emceed by Darren Schaefer, the host of the popular D.B. Cooper podcast, The Cooper Vortex. Scheduled to present and appear are case experts, authors, scientists and even the eyewitness that sat directly across from the hijacker – passenger Bill Mitchell. Case expert, attorney, and host of the YouTube show - D.B. Cooper Slueth, Ryan Burns, and author of the Amazon – Cold War Bestseller, Where Was Skip?, John Limbach are producing the event. They plan to be joined by case scientist and Citizen Sleuths leader, Tom Kaye, the little boy who found the money back in 1980 – Brian Ingram, parachute experts, historians, a former FBI case agent, and more. For over 50 years, this enduring mystery has gone unsolved and continues to be ranked annually in in our country’s Top 3 – Amilia Earhart, Jimmy Hoffa, and D.B. Cooper. Take off on a three-day uplifting experience, jump into a movie seat for a day or two, or spread your wings throughout the town to find where attendees are flocking for fun, food, and froth. A Three-Day Pass is $75 and is limited to 200 passes total. The pass is scheduled to include the Movie Night TBD – Subject to Change Daily tickets can be purchased for $30 online or at the box office day of show.
