Comprised entirely of striking still images, the film tells the story of mankind’s hope for salvation through travel to the future after a devastating war. </span><br><br><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;">Cited by Terry Gilliam as the inspiration for <b>12 Monkeys</b>, La Jetée explores connections between love and memory, beyond time.</span><br><br><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;">On Wednesday, July 15th, the Kiggins will host a special screening of this iconic Sci-Fi masterpiece featuring a new electronic live score by FunSize Renegade and performances by Briz and The Exosphere Project. </span><br><br><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;">Pacific Northwest sound artist FunSize Renegade creates dark ambient, downtempo and IDM atmospheres inspired by Berlin School's organic explorations, vintage EuroCine scores and classic electro's joyful bounce. </span><br><br><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;">Briz (Matt Brislawn) is a Vancouver, WA-based experimental musician specializing in noise, ambient, and drone, using live analogue sources—ranging from home-built circuits to unconventional devices.
