DB COOPER: THE FBI FILES

OUR FLIGHT HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL NOVEMBER!

On Thanksgiving Eve 1971 a man calling himself Dan Cooper skyjacked a Northwest Orient flight traveling from Portland to Seattle.
Upon landing in Seattle, Cooper ransomed the passengers for $200,000 and four parachutes. He then directed the jet to takeoff and head to Mexico City by way of Reno for a fuel stop.
Approximately 36 minutes after departing Seattle, somewhere just north of Portland, Cooper parachuted out of the back of the jet never to be seen or heard from again.
To date this is the only unsolved skyjacking in United States history.
DB COOPER: THE FBI FILES is your opportunity to learn about and discuss the legendary mystery of DB Cooper with Cooper investigative expert, author and organizer of CooperCon, Eric Ulis, while enjoying the best that the Vancouver area has to offer in terms of local craft beer.
During Eric’s 90-minute presentation he will touch upon all aspects of the skyjacking including the skyjacking itself, the FBI’s investigation, the 1980 money find at Tena Bar in Vancouver, the discovery of new evidence on Cooper’s tie in 2008 and 2017, the Cooper DNA profile and some of the suspects.
In addition, Eric will have with him a real Cooper $20 that was found in 1980, a parachute similar to the one Cooper jumped with, a tie clip similar to the one Cooper left on the jet and many pictures illustrating the DB Cooper case.
